Otouto is a Melbourne-based band made up of Hazel Brown on guitar and vocals, Kishore Ryan (Kid Sam, Seagull) on drums/pots and Martha Brown on vocals and keys. they used to be known around town as 'Hazel Brown' but now that is Hazel's privilege alone.
Their debut album 'Pip', produced by Nick Huggins, is wonderfully styled pop music written with depth and skill that belies the age of the band members who seem to have the soul of Motown in their voices, the dirt of Nashville under their fingernails and the space of electronica in their heads.
